The address is 631 S. Richard Allen Court. The event is free and open to the public.
“We are excited to bring the ‘Black-Owned Business Expo’ back to Spokane,” said Sandra Williams, editor and publisher of Black Lens News, a local African-American newspaper and one of the event organizers and sponsors. “With Black History Month in full-swing, we think it’s a great time to help showcase and celebrate the many great African-American business owners in our community.”
Local businesses featured at the event include restaurants, real estate agents, retailers, beauty supply companies, consultants, financial services officials and childcare providers.
Other event sponsors are the Spokane Ministers’ Fellowship and the Carl Maxey Center.
